Over 4 days this January, a team of Reef Life Survey volunteers and staff from the Institute for Marine & Antarctic Studies conducted RLS surveys and a full census of the only known populations of critically endangered Red Handfish, Thymichthys politus.
The census was possible thanks to grants from The Mahamod bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund and SeaWorld.
