Description
Adults variable in colour, but with black or blue patch at pectoral base, and often a large white bar midway down body. Juvenile similar to that of D. pseudochrysopoecilus (Monarch Damsel) with two white bands on body and large ocellus on upper back, but distinguished by second white band covering rear body and tail.
