Description
Relatively low shell with several raised ridges spiralling around each whorl. On western specimens the ridges are quite angular with the whorls undercut below, so this form has sometimes been considered a different species, Turbo whitleyi.

  • Occurrence: Widespread (57% of sites)

    Abundance is calculated as the average number of individuals recorded per RLS transect, where present.
