Distribution

Tropical Eastern Pacific


Description

Relatively large, high body, dark grey colouration, large scales with dark edges and yellowish tail fin, rear of dorsal and anal fins, and pelvic fins. Juveniles orange/yellow with a blue back, ocellus on rear back at base of dorsal fin and a blue-edged black saddle on tail base.
