Distribution

Mediterranean, Temperate South America, Temperate northern Atlantic, Tropical Atlantic/Caribbean


Description

Silvery-pink with a faint red line obliquely over eye, light blue highlights on scales, a row of iridescent blue spots between eyes and a small dark spot at rear base of dorsal fin. Juveniles usually found over seagrass beds.
