Distribution


Description

Dark grey to yellowish grey-brown, with black spots and fine darker lines along sides, and fine whitish wavy lines on head. Males with pronounced axe-shaped hump on top of head and extended rear dorsal fin rays. Common in the top 1m depth among mangrove branches and/or mussels, oysters etc.
