Distribution

Tropical Indo-Pacific


Description

High body with yellow fins and tail, blue lines on face and fine blue spots on body. Dark bar over shoulder fading with age. Large individuals possibly confused with yellow-finned variation of the emperor Lethrinus erythracanthus (Orangespotted Emperor). Juveniles often with white body spot.
