Description
Semi-translucent grey body with three very fine black stripes along body, two rows of white spots, the first along back above the uppermost stripe and the second with larger, more elongated spots, between lower stripes. Eye with yellow and black spoke like markings on upper two-thirds. Perches on rocks and coral heads. Similar E. trilineatus (Whitespotted Combtooth Blenny) has a row of white spots below upper stripe, and E. mandibularis (Queensland Combtooth Blenny) lacks black stripes along body, also differs by location.
