Description
Generally light grey with five wide brown body bars, but yellow and near black forms also occur, bluish-white dashes on head tending to spots on body, dorsal fin without markings. Similar Cryptocentrus cinctus (Yellow Shrimpgoby) has more sharply-cornered dorsal fin with bluish streaks. Shares burrow with Alpheid shrimp.
