Description
Pale base colour with broad black stripes inter-spaced with yellow on head and along middle of body and scattering into spots on tail base. More elongate and narrower-bodied than most cardinalfishes, with a more rounded face. Mimics Mieacanthus grammistes (Saber-toothed Blenny).
