Description
Characteristic band of yellow-tipped glands around the mantle skirt a distance away from the outer mantle margin, the forward-most of these extend ahead of the rhinophores. Rhinophores and circlar gills are usually pale yellow, which can distinguish this species from Cadlina flavomaculata which exhibits black or dark brown rhinophores and also occurs in the Pacific North West.
