Description
Five brown bars on body, red corner of mouth, brown flecks on back, orange, dark-edged round spots on head, eye with spoke-like arrangement of black spots. Red corner of mouth and spots on head, lacking in similar A. steinitzi (Steinitz's Shrimpgoby). Shares burrow with Alpheid shrimp.
