Description

Fine oblique yellow stripes across blue body, blue-edged black mask over eyes down to blue opercular spine, second dark blue-edged patch behind head, yellow tail and rear of dorsal fin, and black anal fin. Juveniles with blue concentric curved lines on dark body, the innermost of which forming a circle just in front of tail base. Length to 40 cm.
