Description
Three thin black stripes extend along back, another extends along lower body, thin black stripe from snout to eye. Length to 8 cm. Black stripe from snout through eye, dark spiny dorsal fin with red and white margin. Black stripe from snout to eye, three thin dark stripes from behind eye on to back, another stripe along lower body, yellow-brown blotch on spiny first dorsal fin bordered with red and white, and indistinct vertical bars on body. Similar to P. haackei (Wavy Grubfish) but distinguished by location.
