Description
Dark adult with yellow pectoral fin and yellow hue around mouth. Juvenile yellow/orange with neon blue markings, similar to a number of other juvenile damselfishes. Two ocelli on back, the first larger ocellus joined by blue line to snout, and 2nd smaller ocellus where dorsal fin joins tail base.
