Description
Three broad black stripes from head head to tail breaking into black spots on tail base and tail fin, yellow head grading to white body and white-edged black spot on pectoral fin base. Stripes on similar M. lineatus (Lined Fangblenny) and Petroscirtes fallax (Yellow Sabretooth Blenny) do not end as dots or continue onto tail fin.
