Temperate Australasia, Tropical Indo-Pacific


Description

Light body with black/brown and white spots, row of paired black spots along body behind pectoral fin with white spots in between, not fused as in other Istigobius species, and thin black lines on head, through eye and on cheek. Found on sand patches near reefs.
