Description
Slender body with long snout. Adults grey with a black blotch about one third of the way along the body, often surrounded by smaller white blotches, and orange stripe or blotches on side. Juveniles with brown upper body delineated from pale lower body by black stripe. Bright yellow individuals also sometimes sighted. Longer snout than in similarly-shaped Hologymnosus species.
