Distribution

Tropical Indo-Pacific


Description

Dirty yellow with oblique \'tiger stripe\' body markings, and black-edged gold bar through eye with black patch above. Chaetodon punctatofasciatus and C. guttatisimus have vertical markings on body, the latter also differing in distribution (an Indian Ocean species).
