Temperate South America, Temperate northern Atlantic, Tropical Atlantic/Caribbean


Description

Deep body with a very blunt snout, irregular black bands on body which fade with age, elongated dorsal and anal fins, and black margins on all median fins. Forms schools, often around man-made structures and will regularly circle divers.
