Temperate Australasia, Tropical Indo-Pacific


Description

Adult male rarely observed, rounded pinkish-orange head, dark-edged scales on rear body, large yellow patch on back; females with yellow body, white bar midway along back, large rounded black patch behind.

Sea Temperature Range: 16.2-28.2°C

Depth: 10-120 m
