Description
Membranes between dorsal spines with white tips and white spots on lower section, forming curved light lines across the upper and lower spiny dorsal fin. Silver/white stripes of equal width distinguish it from S. microstoma (Smallmouth Squirrelfish) which has stripes of unequal width. S. punctatissimum (Peppered Squirrelfish) has similar spiny dorsal fin, but lacks distinct stripes.
