Tropical Indo-Pacific


Description

High rounded body with thin yellow stripes and a blue edged black spot on upper lip. The number, length and continuity of stripes varies with age with juveniles only having two white stripes. Juveniles on coastal reefs and adults in deeper water. Usually well back in caves and under ledges during the day. Skin has toxic poison. Length to 30cm
