Description

Tan colouration, short dark bars along back with intervening white spots. Mid lateral row of white dashes with second row of short dark bars on body below. Similar E. alleni (Allen’s Combtooth Blenny) has a white-edged black spot on pectoral base and is only found in the north-western Australia. Endemic to eastern Australia and the eastern Coral Sea.
