Description
Fish spawn along the southern Western Australia coast during autumn, after which most of the juvenile fish population moves eastwards with the prevailing current during the first year. The Victorian and Tasmanian population grows more slowly than the western population and migrates westward for spawning after four to six years, at about 500 mm in length.
