Description

Bright longitudinally striped body with elongate nippers that are almost straight along the upper margin. It is a moderately common pistol shrimp under rocks in southern Tasmania, but extremely rare on the mainland. These two populations may comprise different species, as there appear to be slight differences in the shape of the claws.
